We started out in 2000 as a trio, added and changed members along the way, and now we're a trio again. We have released two demos worth mentioning: "Branded forever" in 2008 and "Arrogantus Metallus" in 2009. Now we have released "AntiXtian" full length vinyl on HELLROCKER RECORDS and the CD-version will come early 2011 on CHAOS RECORDS. We are fighters and will make sure you'll hear more from us, nuff said.” … I don´t think so, that’s why I talked with Ronnie Ripper, so lay back and enjoy TURBOCHARGED!

Hail to my favorite Swedish Golgotha Rockers (currently LOL). Are you already bored with your debut album? How are you?

Hey there! Ha ha, Golgotha Rockers? That’s a first! Hell no, we’re still proud of our album and even if we don’t play the songs every rehearsal we still enjoy and fear the songs – old guys trying to play thrash is hard work you know. We’re fine, thanks keeping busy and hoping for the best, what else can we do?

Do you lead a serious war against Christianity or is it all about a big funny joke! Why don´t you let the Black Metal hordes make their job?

Serious war is probably a little too much to promise but we try to do our share to make their lives miserable and perhaps wake up a few atheists out there. And if the black metal bands were doing their job more churches would burn, don’t you think?? ;) Actually, nothing I ever did was a joke, not even the comic aspects of Gehennah, it was serious but spoken in a casual manner, even the dark sense of humor that shines through here and there is deadly serious at least to me. If that makes me a clown it’s not me who painted a smiling face upon me. ;)

Is there a difference between antichristian songs and satanic themes?

Yes, a huge difference! Our antichristian theme takes a stand against all sorts of religion while satanic stuff takes a stand FOR a certain path. Of course there are different genres in satanic styles as well, whether it’s La Veyism or anti cosmic stuff or perhaps pure devil worship they all speak for a way of thinking while we choose to walk our own way and stand outside all organized ways of thinking. If we would be part of something organized it would be together with all of the above against the Christian church though but we’re no warriors, we are musicians and if we can instigate a “satanic” riot it’s a nice bonus. ;)

Honestly, is it not unusual to connect groovy punk and thrash tunes with themes like that? Have I missed something?

Yeah, it probably is, we don’t think about it like that though, we just do our thing and let others judge if it works or not. This band has always been outside trends or genres since we are isolated in the woods and we take each day as it comes. It will probably cause some trouble since we are not custom made for any certain gig out there, they won’t know where to put us between punk and metal but in our opinion we are metal all the way, the punk influences comes from the beginning of the metal days when the bands wasn’t divided into different styles yet.

How many punks do you know who would like cement in the savior headfirst?

I don’t really know that many punks but if they are true anarchists they should like the idea of crushing something organized. ;)

Lets talk about you guys, what have you done the last 10 years? TURBOCHARGED can´t have engaged you all the time. Is actually any forming member in the band?

We’ve all had some other projects running on and off but it all came back to this band in the end. Besides that we have families to look after, some have jobs and some just try to survive from one day to another. It’s the basic small-town life but with less social network and more noisemaking. It’s hard to sum up what’s obvious you know, we just mortals like anyone else with the same duties on a daily basis. Forming members? I am the one who came up with the idea of the band and I’m still here so yes, one forming member is left, the rest should have been there from the start but fate didn’t want that obviously.

You had a long lineup squabbling. How much sense makes a band if less direct work comes out in such a long time?

Yes, we’ve had our fair share of both lineup problems and not very ambitious members but making albums and playing gigs isn’t everything, the struggle has been fuel to forge the band together to what it is today basically. You don’t know when it’s all right before you’ve tasted the wrong path as well and it has taught us not to take anything for granted and not relying on others to do our job. Vomitory and Gehennah in all honor but Turbocharged is the steadiest band I have ever had the pleasure to play in since we again became a trio so just keeping it up and staying active is the bottom-line in our band, then if others likes what we do it’s fucking great and perhaps we can get the feedback we hope for one day.

I mean you needed 10 years to be slow on the uptake with your debut. What the hell?

Believe me, if you only heard those first staggering steps we thought would suit as demos you would be pleased with the ten years we took to record our first album, ha ha! It wasn’t that bad but since we had a variety of different people with different musical background (if any at all) it all had to fit everyone all the time so we never tied the dots together properly back then. It’s basically the last three years that has been the REAL Turbocharged.

When did it become the seriousness of a boozy session, or do I see the band in the wrong light?

I’d say the seriousness took over from the drunken agenda already the first time we picked up the instruments together. We recorded an 8 track demo after only a month and since then we’ve never looked back at how and why the band was started. For a real metalhead/musician it’s not a question about reasons, it’s all about playing hard and loud. ;)

What’s your opinion about the album, are you confirmed with the reviews in the press?

The album is the best debut I’ve ever been part of actually and it’s the best performance we’ve done so far so of course we’re pleased with the result. I know a lot of people out there will compare it to “Hardrocker” or even “Raped in their own blood” but that was then and this is now, if they try to find similarities they are barking up the wrong tree if you ask me. It’s easy to see in the reviews who gets our drift and who don’t take it in, some complain that we are just stealing riffs and we don’t hit a homerun but they are looking for experimental shit which we don’t care about writing. The ones who get the idea are the ones who look beyond the familiar riffs and arrangements, everything good is already done years ago so why try to fuck up the winning concept, and they feel the energy that drives those parts forward.

There are 2 versions of the album that confused me a bit. Can you explain the versions from Hellrocker Records and Chaos Records?

Yeah, I’ve been expecting this question to arrive, ha ha! It’s quite simple really: The Hellrocker Records release is the 300 copies only vinyl edition with the black and white layout and the early 1990:es feel to it while the Chaos Records edition is the CD-version with the full color artwork. No bonus tracks or fancy shit like that, just a proper mastering and a way more elaborate layout concept.

The original release date was Dec. 24, is it a tribute to Lemmy, an act of blatantly blasphemy or both?

Both! We were supposed to release it months before that but due to numerous reasons it kept being delayed and finally we settled for December 24. The main reason is Lemmy’s birthday but the blasphemy is a huge bonus in every aspect.

If I hear the songs, it sounds like huge fun. Is there more behind it?

Of course we make sure to have fun while writing, recording and performing the stuff but it’s not meant to be taken lightly in that manner, we believe in what we are doing and we take it personally when someone says it’s shit like any other band with any kind of self esteem. But on the other hand, we still have distance to ourselves and we’re no stuck up gang of bitches who claims to be more than we are, we’re just three assholes from the countryside who likes to piss people off and to point out who should be crushed and not. ;)

The production gives the songs the necessary kick, have you needed a long time to get it?

Not really, we have our own studio and the same gear as we always have so the sound is basically finished in the rehearsal room, the problem is to capture it through microphones without altering it too much. We take our time to get the main sound right but then it’s all full speed ahead and as long as it feels right it IS right, why complicate when you can go by gut feeling?

GG ALLIN plays its role into your music and GEHENNAH too, or am I wrong?

You’re right to some extent, I guess having an attitude like ours is doomed to be compared to old GG, he was after all the biggest terrorist the scene has witnessed so it’s all a fair assumption. But as for GG and his Murder Junkies being a major influence is not really true, we have many other bands that are far more present in our minds when the riffs comes to life. We are, as I said a metal band that is mistaken for punk more than the other way around but with the D-beat as our backbone it’s borderline punk most of the time.

What influenced you and what interested you not a bit?

Man, you sure know how to put me on the edge here, ha ha! I have to give you a boring answer on this one since I don’t know how to explain this, we are influenced by the bands we are into ourselves and we are equally influenced by the shitty bands out there since they show us they way NOT to do it. One thing that puts me off in a band is when it’s obvious they are trying to be something they are not and another thing is that politics have no place in metal, those are the two big no-no’s in my world. Sure, here someone could easily question how I can worship Venom for instance since they are not practicing Satanists but it’s all a matter of approach, they never took it to the ridiculous level where they claim to be demons or higher beings, they talked about jukeboxes in hell and having tea with Satan. How could that be other than cool? ;)

How important are humor, sarcasm and irony? And what transformed you into such hateful guys who piss on the cross all the time?

Humor, sarcasm and irony are the cornerstones of my whole personality and that goes for the other guys as well, without them you just turn into shit among the rest of the sub humans out there trying to put themselves above their own ability. I guess the hateful part must fall upon me this time since I write the lyrics but yeah, I am not the most optimistic guy around and I have my reasons, why the Christians take the shit this time is probably because it’s a good theme, a good cause and a subject we hold close to our hearts. There is nothing as annoying as religious fanatics who try to push their beliefs in your throat so we need someone to pay them back with their own currency and that’s where Turbocharged comes in. It’s hard to explain what motivates us more than that, it just feels right and there’s a lot more to come.

If you had a time machine and you could play at the last supper, in what would it have influenced the history of the occident?

Well, first of all, either Jesus would have assaulted us and you’d read about it in the bible or he would kill himself right there and then, ha ha! Weird question, I love it!

I have the theory that you had transformed it in a big party with rivers of alcohol, bitches, sodomy and dope. Would it be an acceptable alternative for you?

That would have been damn nice, I’d take a gig like that any day! Hold the dope though, we stick to drinking. They’d serve beer instead of wine in the church still today if that would have happened and the nuns would have needed diapers for ages after that party! ;)

Last hellish spot is yours!

Thanks for the attention, bro, I really enjoyed this one! Stay awake for more noise coming from the deep woods of Sweden! Cheers!

Bloody, raw, punk, Swedish old school, nasty, morbid, rampant and 2 dozen adjectives more describing what MIASMAL stands for. But you have to hear it to love it. So, what are you waiting for, get this piece chunky Death Metal? But first read the following interview, you bums!

MIASMAL, nice name. Are you able to bring the next unavoidable pandemic of the music business? Will we to spread the SOS signal from our rooftops?

Well yes, that’s certainly our goal. The winds of upheaval will seep into the sacred rooms of denial.

Give me the necessary details about the ruffians who are responsible for so many sleepless nights?

4 people living in 3 different cities at the moment. Working and trying to hold life together. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes not. The time in between we play in bands, like Miasmal.

Do you swim on some kind of a retro wave?

Perhaps, but not by choice. When we started the band in 2007 we were completely unaware of any retro trends/waves, so I don’t care about it too much. I guess it’s all a reaction to the tendencies in modern metal, when it sounds like the musical equivalent to brain surgery or something, all sterile and precise.

What does MIASMAL offer that other bands have done till now?

We offer good songs played from the guts.

Do you have problems with name dropping? Do you see your own identity endangered about that?

I don’t personally care. If people want to name drop in order to describe our sound - no big deal. Miasmal’s identity will not sway.

How many chords and how much innovation and sweat are necessary to write a unique song?

A few chords and some gut feeling. When you don’t think about what chords that are playing and you just get consumed by a feeling or a force of a song, then it’s right. What’s unique and not is in the eye of the beholder.

Is punk a indispensable part of your music like the moose antlers on his big ugly grass eater - head.

You can’t deny the influence of punk/hc on the classic old school death metal bands. So I would say yes. Even though punk is a very broad term. Stuff like Anti Cimex and Discharge is an influence for me.

Are classical guitar solos and a morbid attitude the base for a successful metal recipe?

Solos isn’t the most important thing. I like chaotic rock’n’roll solos with my death metal - not neoclassical Yngwie Malmsteen wank. Morbid attitude - you bet.

Is your music so familiar to you because of your locale, therefore the reason it sounds so relaxed and playful?

Well, pretty much all of our music is written at home which is a pretty nice environment to be in. If I tried writing songs in a public toilet perhaps it would be more “grim”.

On your album you don’t use that kind of overproduced modern sound. Is it because you emphasize authenticity?

It is because we feel the modern sound you mentioned is robbing music of it’s natural power and energy. We wanted the production to fit the songs and music.

This album seems more like a small discography than just an debut album, or am I wrong?

The CD version is a discography yes. First 8 songs are the new album, then our previous 7” and demo are tacked on as CD bonus tracks.

It seems MIASMAL is much more than a rampant riot? How much system and brain is behind it?

When creating the music Miasmal is a controlled entity with one goal in sight. When playing live it’s about a feeling, energy and not showing off some over-rehearsed guitar licks.

What is the bigger part of the band, fun or hard work? On which part do you feel more pressure to booze?

At the point of writing we’ve only done 3 gigs in total. So hard work has made up the lions share of Miasmal so far, with writing, recording etc. Playing live is of course hard work too, but it’s more physical, and about energy. You don’t want booze to interfere either with a recording or a performance. However the circumstances around playing live are more likely to lead to drinking than when your sitting by yourself recording guitar solos.

Do you understand MIASMAL as a typical representative of … something …? Are you in need of leaving someone’s shadow?

No need for anything. Miasmal represents Miasmal, nothing more, nothing less. I feel we are an unique band with some perhaps obvious influences.

What will you do on the day when all masses are read, and believe me, that day will come!

I’m sorry but I don’t understand this question. Anyway my answer is that I’ll have some popcorn and a beer.

Any fear about pressure to succeed, that you can’t top what you did so far?

No, not at all. If we can’t come up with new good stuff, then the band is done and it’s time to move on. Luckily that hasn’t been the case for us so far.

You will tour for some weeks in the US. What are your expectations, if you have some?

See a lot of new places, meet some friends, meet some new people and most of all play some killer shows. I’ve been to the US before with my other band Agrimonia and we had a great time. People were friendly and enthusiastic. I’m also looking forward to see some great bands at the Maryland Death Fest and the Chaos in Tejas Fest.

Who will play with you? Real tour package or local supporters?

First half of the tour will be with the Impalers / Mammothgrinder / Innumerable Forms. All from the US. 2nd half will be with Bone Sickness (also from the US).

I hope you know they don’t have sweet bread and only cheap vodka (probably). Public boozing is forbidden and smoking frowned upon. Maybe you will come back as refined people?

I highly doubt that. They have the Four Loco drink the gas stations everywhere, and drinking that stuff is not refined at all.

What about European support, do you treat the old continent shabbily … perhaps?

Not at all. We’d love to (and plan to) play Europe more. Stay tuned.

Last spot is yours (keep burning the northern flame, ha ha ha, my arse)!

Many thanks for the interview! Check out - Cheers!

Close your doors, turn the lights off, hide your daughters in the closet, the RAZORRAPEr is coming for you! The master of torture and pain is looking for new and innocent victims … although no one is innocent! I did this interview on deathrow shortly before his execution. My attempt to do a psychological profile is failed … obviously. 2 days after he escaped and now I have to hide myself. Good bye and good luck. God bless you!

I pay my respect to the well known Swedish butcher, how are you Martin? Is RAZORRAPE born from a deranged mind?

Hello man! All is fine here. I have a day off work so I will probably just clean up the mess at home and see a friend in town. RazorRape was actually born from a sick and deranged mind haha... I formed RazorRape back in 2004 and the reason was to have an own side project, writing the most sick and brutal songs. I never had any intention to make RazorRape serious
but when I had the chance I thought: "Yeah, let's fucking do this serious". And now RazorRape has become a name within this genre and that's great! I want to keep it that way, spread the name to as many people as possible!!!

New album is “ante portas”, will it be the new revelation for perverts and raving lunatics?

It will!! New album title is not confirmed yet but I have many sick ideas in my head. It will be kind of a follow-up to the previous album "Unleashing the Shemales of Vengance", but the new album will be based more on true crimes and focus on female violence against men. You know, many death metal and gore grind covers has often a female who is being tortured, raped or abused in some way, but I don't want that!! I want to focus on violence in general, from the female victim who is taking revenge on men. Musicwise the new album is way more varied than the previous album. We have a mixed balance between gore grind and true grind core.

Have you managed it again to edge your knives and axes to beat them into the flesh of your victims? Deeper than the gorefilled opposition?

Of course!! I have a big toolbox with me and if anyone fucks with me I'll tear them apart and cook ém for dinner!!

Is RAZORRAPE something like a missionary for misguided lamentable flesh?

Maybe, if you feel lost you probably will like RazorRape. We have all ingredients in here!!!

Your audio – terror shall bring entertaining fun, but it’s all about torture, pain and harm … explain it!

We play goregrind and violence comes with it. I guess I shouldn't have a problem singing about hamburgers and my addiction to records but gore is more fun and it never becomes boring. Gore fascinates people and it fascinates me so it's becomes natural to sing about it. We try to do funny song titles that stands out a bit and easy to remember, for example "Triple Cock Buttfuck", "Shemale Snuff Scat Orgy" But in general it's all about gore, torture and sickness. Our album artworks is more sick than bloody, and we wanna keep it that way. Personally I love gory album covers but there is nothing that beats a very sick and bizarre album cover!

Let’s talk about the established art of torture. What is our favorite tool in your abattoir?

Knife! It's sharp, it's dangerous and it's easy to use and you don't need two hands for using it like a bigger tool, for example chainsaw. You can bring the knife with you and it doesn't weight that much either.

What’s the most effective way to use a chainsaw? From top - down hitting the head first or from bottom - up, snuggling the genitals?

You should start with the limbs, that's more fun!!! Blood is spraying everywhere and the victim will not die directly. Pleasure thru pain! You said "effective"!!!! Maybe that's not the most effective way if you wanna kill a person fast... then you should just saw the head off!!

What´s your favorite way of keeping your victims alive by maximal distress?

I store them in my torture chamber! No one can here them scream down there!!

Has the gore – grind torture method any ethical fundamentals or is all allowed?

It has no boundaries!!! Maybe you shouldn't do an album glorifying pedophilia! You can do an album against pedophilia though! We have a new song titled "Preteen Swinger Sexparty" and that songtitle is maybe over-the-top but it's actually about all those fucking child molester bastards like Josef Fritzl... this song is pretty much about revenge against those pedophiles!!!

Are pain and sex connected inextricably?

Maybe!!! In my world pain and sex goes hand in hand!!

Your way to enjoy torturing innocent victims - personal aspiration or total rage?

There is always a thought behind my decisions, I prefer personal aspiration and inspiration!!

How do you explain to your electricity provider and your local waterworks the tremendous consumption?

I try to explain that I have a student named Percy in my house and he use all electricity to his new giant rectum dildo!! Of course E-ON (the biggest electricity provider in Sweden) didn't like that explanation so I just said that Percy is sitting in an electrical wheelchair 24/7.

What do you tell your neighbors about the quivering light in your basement?

I say that I have a garden in my basement where beautiful flowers are growing!!!

Do you use any special method to clean your overalls from chore spots (urine, faeces, blood, bile, whatever)?

What kind of torturer are you, the subtle nails and teeth guy or the brutal bone crusher and amputator?

I'm the bone crusher!! I use my sledgehammer with fierce!!!

Is the romantic of torture lost with the industrialization? I mean in the past we had inquisition, today we have electric current. That goes to the disadvantage of fantasy!

Someway yeah!! I prefer inquisition and beheading, that's fucking old school!!! Nowadays the prisoners has luxury; televisions, PC and other shit. Fuck that!!!

How do you recycle the bodies and other remains?

I recently bought a new giant freezer so that I can store all those limbs and meat in it. You are invited to big barbeque this summer!!! HUMAN BARBEQUE!!

What gender is you majority? What keeps you running?

Tits and asses keeps me running!!!!!!!

Lots of girls throwing their slips on the stage while a gore grind band growls ant feministic paroles. Can you explain it? Are emancipation and feminism just a false front?

I love when feminist cunts argue about stuff like that. Fuck them!! I will throw them in my meatgrinder and make some delicious Taco dinner!!! Seriously I can understand why people don't like the situation we have when women get lower salary than men for same kind of work, that's shitty and there's hundred other reasons to argue about this and that. What I don't understand is that people simply don't understand what we're doing; we play gore grind and
we love it and our image is just for entertaining, nothing else!!

Do you have a problem with women and your own sexuality maybe? A problem to channel your perverse urges?

Yes, I have a problem with my ass! Can you help me??? I have a Motorhead vinyl record stuck in my rectum, do you know how to get it out??

With Orgasmatron, what else! What connection do you see between RAZORRAPE and Glam Rock, I know you like it. Is it a common tradition?

RazorRape is basically gore glam rock!!! I love this genre, next RazorRape album will have the title: "Wild and Crazy in Your Ass"

Maybe Glam Rock is just a way to try to compensate some gay experiences in your past?

I think so!!! Born: glammer! Dead: poser!

Have you ever thought about psychological assistance? Or would you dismember the psychologist on your shambles immediately?

I met a shrink but I actually raped him and buried him at my basement one year ago so I don't think I will meet a new one.

We got it, I think. Send a last greeting to your creator before the hangman is coming!

Save your limbs or RazorRape will get you!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D CHEERS MAN AND STAY FUCKING SICK! Thanx for the funny interview.
